The Spa at Mirbeau in Skaneateles, New York has a French Touch

The Spa at Mirbeau has won many awards.  They have 18 treatment rooms each with a fireplace, private sound system and radiant heat flooring. The Resting Area has plenty of comfy lounges and a fireplace plus, in the center, what looks like a little pond that is actually a heated foot massage
pool. But the most unique a feature is their Aqua Terrace.  It is an outdoor oasis with a heated 15-person hot tub, a little waterfall and a fireplace.  And, yes, it is operational year round. There is also a workout room with a variety of classes that are free to guests. The classes range from Pilates to
Cardio & Strength Circuit. The Gentle Yin Yoga, a Chinese yoga, is designed to work the body’s energy system and overall state of well-being is appropriate for all levels.

The Spa has a full menu of treatments including the Mirbeau Signature Massage which is a classic Swedish massage enhanced with antioxidant-rich oils and ends with a Beauty Elixir and
Monet’s Favorite Fragrance which is an aromatherapy treatment with the emphasis on classic balance. They offer a variety of classes including Aroma Yoga a 90-minute vinsasa flow yoga class using therapeutic essential oils and a 60-minute Zumba class that mixes body sculpting movements from merengue, salsa, reggae, and mambo with aerobic interval training.

Guests should plan to spend a full day at the spa so they can enjoy the entire experience - the Aqua terrace, Resting Area, one or more classes – there are some early in the morning and others late in the afternoon. For more information check Mirbeau.com.
